I'm very sorry that I haven't been writing at this bloggie for quite some time, sorry lah huh. Anyway, like anybody cares, no one reads this bloggie. *criez* I'm wasting my time. *boo hoo hoo* Anyway, the Clay Marble chapter by chapter first-line review, will have to wait. I just don't like bending my book and think of those things to write, maybe if I'm damny free I will do it. Haha! Procrastination. That's my weakness. That's why I can't hand in my work on time. Can't kick the habit, don't know why. Some advice? Haha! Anywa, today's blog entry definitely has something to do with literature. Haha! You must be waiting for it lah huh? I don't know. I can't read minds of unknown people. Ah! Like ah duh? Anyway, I just watched "The Killing Fields", this movie today. Courtesy of Miss Stefanie Tan. Thanks a lot. Commentary on "The Killing Fields". Plus, there's more. Relationship to "The Clay Marble" novel. And more! So remember to continue reading! Sorry! I was watching an advertisment. Got an idea from there. Stupid right? Ah, who cares. Haha! Was playing for a while. Sorry. Eh? You can't know! Ah, who cares. Ok! New papragraph...... Stupid right? Haha! Ooohhh...... Sorry bout' what happened on Games Day. *criez* I was crying inside. *boo hoo hoo hoo hoo*
"The Killing Fields" (I feel better and more at ease if I don't put in the inverted commas), is a show portraying the Vietnamese war from 1973 and 1975 (I think). It also portrayed violence, communism and to what I think if you think about the movie into greater deepness, Geneva Convention. Haha! I asked what actually and really was the Geneva Convention that day during History, it's about treating the POWs well. Well, they are humans too right? Humans also have human rights, right? They have feelings and nerve impulses? Anyway, I think the Geneva Convention also includes that no soldier can hit or capture journalists and reporters? I think so. Am I right? Enlighten me! Haha! Anyway, the Geneva Convention...... Ooohhh...... It has some relationship to Flowers for Algernon! Haha! Another linkage! What the bloody crap! Haha! Anyway, relationship with Clay Marble. Hmm...... They are all set during war time, in chaotic settings. Violence is common and similar in both contexts. And...... Sorry. I was playing computer games. Haha! Procrastination again. Haha! Ok! Other than that. Dara and Pran both had friends. They were Jantu and Sydney respectively. Obviously, there was a difference in their fates. Haha! I think you know what it is, no use explaining and going into details. Redudant. Ah! Dara found "peace" and "happiness" in the toy village, but Pran did not have any. Both Dara and Pran found new strength to continue living. Dara and Pran both had a journey. Dara's journey was to find happiness and peace, while literally, it means going to the border. As for Pran, his journey is to escape the communism camp. Haha! It was really scary in there. Pran looked disgusting and pitiful in there, well, Dara too....... LOL (Laugh out loud) Haha! I think that's all lah huh? Anyway, it was a good movie, except for the bloody bad language. Haha! In this generation, who doesn't use these kind of words? By the way, was this movie shown in Singapore? I don't think so. Never saw it in the papers. Haha! Who really cares!?
